Z Sails Delivers Carbon LeisureFurl Mainsail for Swan 53.
This gorgeous, dual-purpose main sail was designed for racing and cruising. It’s made of membrane carbon, so it’s incredibly light without sacrificing an ounce of strength. We added Light Skin, an ultra-light, extra woven layer that’s glued to the carbon/mylar component, so this sail is sure to look and perform beautifully for years to come.
J/109 Class Sails Development
Over the past few years, we’ve focused on fine-tuning sail designs for the J/109. Our exploration resulted in a new sail that’s easy to trim and super-fast. In fact, we delivered a membrane carbon light skin black one design jib, and we have a membrane carbon main in progress on the floor.
We also recently tested—and tested and tested—several different spinnaker designs, creating a forgiving sail shape for the 108 sq. m. class that’s fast and easy to drive.
